Starting Your Fitness Journey

Wanting to start your fitness journey but don’t know where to start? A lot of times I hear so many eager and excited people who WANT to start their journey, who WANT to work towards their goals but they don’t know how to take that first step! SO, here’s what I recommend:

You are most likely scared of what you think is going to happen. Like people staring at you in the gym, judging you because you aren’t lifting as much as them, thinking you look a certain way and so it will draw their attention, not thinking you are strong enough to start lifting weights- but guess what… YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH, they ARE NOT looking at you! Everyone that’s in the gym is in there working on themselves. They too have goals, they too may just be starting out. They aren’t there to watch other people, let alone judge anyone, so knock those fears right off your list.

HOW TO START

If you have been debating whether or not to step foot in the gym this is your sign to GO! GET STARTED! Here’s what I want you to do:

  • Put on an outfit that makes you feel like a confident bad b*tch

  • Get yourself a playlist that get you HYPE

  • Write out a simple plan for yourself with 5-8 movements, nothing too crazy!

  • WALK IN WITH YOUR HEAD HELD HIGH

  • Pick weights that suit YOU! Don’t try and match what Chad is lifting next to you because its all relative baby- what’s “heavy” to Chad is different than what’s “heavy” to you

  • Execute your movements with intensity

YOU CAN DO THIS!!
